UN fatal disease experts say they will control killer Ebola in 3 months

UN fatal disease experts Brit Dr David Nabarro, the UN’s special envoy on the fatal disease spoke out despite fears that there could be 20,000 confirmed cases by November.
He reckons new health systems put in place in west Africa – with help from countries including Britain – could help turn the tide against the deadly bug.
Brit Dr David Nabarro, said: “Getting it under control within three months is a reasonable target.”
Despite his upbeat comments, US experts warned yesterday that Britain was likely to see its first Ebola cases before the end of the year.
The UK’s chief medical officer Dame Sally Davies also said the UK should prepare for a “handful” of cases.
Britain is preparing to screen all passengers arriving at major airports, ferry terminals and Eurostar for the virus.
