A 10 years old boy known as Tristen Kurilla allegedly killed the 90-year-old woman, before kiling her he said to her “I’m going to curse you back to the fiery hell you came from, you little old witch.”

Shortly after the incident , he grabbed a wooden cane and came back into the room where 90-year-old Helen Novak was sitting upright in her bed, according to The Scranton Times-Tribune.

Investigators say Tristen Kurilla hooked the cane around her neck and shoved it into her throat for five seconds before striking her five times in the throat and five times in the abdomen, the local newspaper stated.

The boy informed his grandpa that the woman was bleeding for her mouth, according to authorities.

His grandpa said the woman was ‘breathing heavy and look terrified” about 10:30 am and became unresponsive around 11 am, police said.

An autopsy on Monday confirmed that her death was a homicide, according to WNEP.

The suspect is currently being jailed at Wayne County Correctional Facility on no bond.
