Nollywood stars turn out for Omoni Oboli’s movie premiere
Nollywood stars
including Uru Eke, Seun Akindele, O.C Ukeje, Lala Akindoju, Wale Ojo and
more were in attendance when Omoni Oboli held the premiere of her
movie, ‘Being Mrs Elliot.’
Held at the Silverbird Galleria, the classy event also had the likes of
comedian, AY, who has a lead role in the movie; Kennis Music act, Jo-El;
set designer, Pat Nebo; OAP, Tosyn Bucknor and others present.
Billed to kick-off at 5pm according to the official invites, the red
carpet session only got underway around 7pm when a number of actors
began to arrive.
However, the movie screening proper did not begin until a few minutes
before 9pm, leaving Omoni Oboli, who produced and directed the movie,
very apologetic for the delay.
By the time the movie screening came to an end, many of the guests
rushed out of the cinema hall due to how late the time was.
‘Being Mrs Elliot’ is the first movie to be produced and directed by
Omoni Oboli and an exclusive screening session had held at the
Presidential Villa in Abuja earlier this month.
The movie will open at the cinemas on September 5....
