Main Dr Olulana Akinnifesi had been a PhD Degree as well as Yale University, Connecticut, You. S. A masters level holder in Economics. He was a former Director in the Central Bank of Nigeria as well as was Head Statistics as well as Econometrics. He received many awards, which included 16 years of meritorious services certificate awarded by CBN within December 1992. While this individual was at Central Financial institution he became a Diplomat as well as was appointed Chief Executive/ Professional secretary, West African Cleaning House, Freetown Sierra Leone, a global Organisation. There he represented Nigeria and the interest of 15 different West African Countries as well as 10 Central Banks by 1991-1993.
Dr Akinnnifesi was also part time Lecturer at the School of Lagos where this individual taught Statistics, Econometrics and Monetary Economics to Msc/PhD students on the department of Economics. He build Emmason Consulting LTD as well as Emmason Investment LTD, a consulting and enterprise management company where he used his acquired experiences in recent times in International Banking Personal Cooperation, Trade and Fiscal Transactions, top level Negotiation Missions to International Organisation for instance UNCTAD, UNID, FEC as well as ECOWAS.
Dr Akinnifeis had been a Fellow of Company of Management Consultants regarding Nigeria, Institute of Fiscal Management and Nigeria Record Association. He was the National Secretary on the Nigerian Statistical Association by 1981-1985 and later Chief executive from 1989-1991. He was also the Chairman on the Nigerian Economic Society (Lagos Chapter) by 1987-1989. He was Vice-President Overseas Association of Official Statistics from 1991-1993. He had a passion for World travel and was part of Island club, Ikoyi clb and FRCN club Lagos.
He died age 74 from brief illness.
