A thief electrocuted by an electric fence

A thief died on Monday morning he was said to be  electrocuted by an electric barbed fence in an atempt to steal diesel from a compound.



we also learnt that the suspect named, Mr. John Aboy, was killed at the are called Dagin Farouk Road, Jos, Plateau State. The incident toke place at about 3am.

It was also complied  that when the two other suspects saw that he had been electrocuted, they took to their heels. Aboy who as electrocuted by the electric fence was found dead in the morning 

The police that were on patrol said to have arrived at the scene in the morning to recover Aboy’s hanging corpse.
The Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abuh Emmanuel, said
 Aboy and his friend had gone their to commit criminal acts and he was electrocuted. So when the first thief got electrocuted, the other two took to their heels. His corpse was recovered by the police when we got the information.

FG Committed to Containing Ebola Scourge by minister

Minister of State for Health, Dr. Khaliru Alhassan, Saturday said the Federal Government was committed to containing the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in the country. Alhassan made this known during a chat with newsmen in Sokoto. He stated that the scourge had already been contained in Lagos state while a special team was mobilised to Rivers state to contain it. “Presently, a specialised team comprising staff members of the World Health Organisation, Centre for Disease Control, Atlanta, United States and Geneva and Medecin Sans Frontiers, are already in Port Harcourt to address the situation. “We are confident we have won the war in Lagos, though we still have one patient receiving attention there but we are still not out of the woods yet.
